Anthrax Album Due Out Sept. 13

Anthrax’s new album Worship Music will be released in the United States on Sept. 13, a day before the metal giants return to their native New York to perform at Yankee Stadium as part of the Big Four concert extravaganza.

Worship Music is Anthrax’s first studio release in eight years, and includes 11 head-banging tracks featuring vocalist Joey Belladonna, whose last studio work with the band was 1990′s Persistence of Time.

Anthrax performed its preview track “Fight ‘Em ‘Til You Can’t” with Belladonna for the first time during the October 8, 2010 concert at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. Watch fan-filmed video footage of the performance, and/or enjoy the audio track below.
