Guitar legend Randy Rhoads’ birthday is Dec. 6, and his family is celebrating it with a weekend event at Kathryn Rhoads D’Argenzio and her husband Richard D’Argenzio’s wine-tasting room in Burbank, Calif.
Beginning on Rhoads’ birthday and ending on Saturday, Dec. 8, the room will be open from 3-9 p.m. daily, and fans and friends will have a chance to meet the Rhoads family, taste the wine and view rare memorabilia.
For several years, D’Argenzio winery has made the Randy Rhoads Limited Release Cabernet Sauvignon, with a generous portion of the proceeds dedicated to the Randy Rhoads Charitable Trust, a charity organization which grants scholarships to aspiring young musicians.
