Phil Demmel is a pretty sick guitarist, but he’s totally humble about it.
In a recent interview with WatchMojo.com, the Jackson signature artist said that singer and rhythm guitarist Robb Flynn is a much more disciplined guitar player than he is. He also insisted that his playing complements Flynn’s chops.
“[Flynn] is just a better guitar player than I am,” said Demmel. “He’s got a better sense of timing and his rhythm is really tight. I think that I complement him; that’s my role in the band, and I accept it.”
