Looks like congratulations are in the way for Megadeth.
The band’s hit single “Public Enemy No. 1″ off most recent album TH1RT3EN was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category during Wednesday’s “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!” show on CBS.
Other bands receiving a nomination in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category are:
- Dream Theater – “On The Backs of Angels”
- Foo Fighters – “White Limo”
- Mastodon – “Curl of the Burl”
- Sum 41 – “Blood In My Eyes”
The Grammy Awards will be aired on CBS on February 12 at 8 p.m. EST (check local listings).
