Texas instrumental metallers Scale the Summit have been hard at work on their fourth album The Migration, which is scheduled to be released in June.
Leading up to that date, the band is taking fans inside the studio with a series of behind-the-scenes videos.
Their latest is a look at the guys tracking guitars for the record. Check it out below.
During a recent Metal Alliance show at Hollywood’s House of Blues, Anthrax brought out more than just hits from their classic album Among the Living and gems from their recent covers release Anthems.
Fans were also treated to a few surprise guests, most-notably Slash and Public Enemy’s Chuck D.
A fiery version of AC/DC’s “T.N.T.” featured Slash on lead guitar, while Chuck D added pop to “Bring the Noise,” a track Anthrax recorded with Public Enemy in 1991.

In the interview, Cannella talks about his history with Jackson and how the the brand was initially a parts company.
Cannella also takes some time time to demo a Jackson DK1.

German thrashers Dew Scented have a special anniversary release coming up called Insurgent that will hold 19 tracks with a total running time of over an hour.
The package will include three new songs and seven live cuts, along with seven more covers, with the fresh material also issued on a limited 10″ vinyl edition.
For those that can’t wait for the release of Insurgent, Dew Scented has dropped a video of the song “Sworn To Obey” from the special release, which can be seen below.

Zombiekrig guitarist el Guapo recently broke down the collection of Jackson guitars he used on the Swedish metallers’ second album, Den Vänstra Stigens Ljus (The Light of The Left Hand Path).
Recorded at Broken Name Studios in San Francisco, the album was released in May of 2012 by GMR Music in Sweden.
