Hi, I am simply wondering how long it usually takes to hear back regarding acquiring a custom guitar? I'm gettin the impression that it's not going to happen. I submitted a custom guitar order/quote through my local dealer here in Australia for a simple Jackson Kelly (Mid Range) with fixed bridge. I regularly check on the progress of the order still with no luck. It has been at least 11 months now. Is my dream of getting the guitar i've always wanted likely going to remain just a dream? ...dont want to go to another brand ,however, other companies have been easier to work with thus far

I think it is your source "Dealer" that didn't send it in.. I'm betting they did not take you seriously about what you want and never submitted your quote. The usual turn around time is never longer than a month. It doesnt matter where you live. I'd say if you're serious find another Jackson Dealer and maybe put down a deposit so they know your serious. Good luck with that.

Your dealer dropped the ball. It takes me 7 days tops to get a quote.
