New to the forums here.

I'm from Britain. Scotland to be exact and I've ordered a custom Jackson RR1.

Anyone from Britain or atleast Scotland will tell you that Jackson RR1's nevermind custom ones aren't the easiest thing to come by. The wait time apparently is 1 year. 1 year to me seems fine for a hand made custom order. However I've now been waiting 1 year 7 months.

I have been told it will be here on May 22nd however This is the 2nd time they've changed the date. First told a year, then a year came, was told January(I ordered in October) then on January I was told May 22nd. I know, or atleast hope, that it will eventually come but can anyone let me know if they have been in the same situation with any RR1 custom or any custom Jackson order for that matter.

I just can't wait to get it!

Sounds familiar! I've got a custom shop Kelly on order, was originally told 1 year which would have meant a delivery in September '11... still waiting, the last date I've been told is June 19th, so I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed! I've seen a picture of it in the sprayshop so it *does* exist, after a fashion... apparently it's finished now though so it should be here soon. I've got a big gig coming up on the 21st, so I'm really hoping to get it in time for that...

I sell the things for a living and I have an order of 12 guitars that the date has been extended twice. I just order 12 more this week and the build time given was 18 months.
If anyone orders a CS you are 18 months at the least.
