I have a custom shop that I ordered with an oiled neck. On a couple of sections the wood is feeling kind of rough. I'd like to know the best way to fix this.

I did a bit of searching and found that the most common answer is Birchwood-Casey Tru-Oil.

What I would like to know is A) What does Jackson use? and B) Is this the Gun Stock Finish or wax? I have a bottle of finish and it smells nothing like the scent that is still coming from my case.

Thanks!!

Word on the street is Tru Oil is what they use, it may just be that you have a different vairant than Jackson gets in bulk. Tru Oil is a gunstock finish, and relatively easy to find.. Best of luck..
