Did you top mount or through-bolt the new nut? I tried that option on my SLQX. The original holes and the ones on the R2 nut didn't line up, but they were too close together for me to just drill new ones without filling the old ones first. I was going to through-bolt mine, but didn't want to take the chance of chipping the finish on the back of the neck. So I just left it as is and sold it.

FRG, thanks for the input. I was hoping Jackson would take care of the issue but if you know about the way Jackson handles customer service then I will wait to see if your solution works, and, continue to hope for Jackson as I am looking forward to getting one more Jackson solid body electric guitar.

Ok. If you have the string slipping off the edge of the fretboard as I did on this guitar here is the easiest solution and it works. Replace the locking nut with an Original Floyd Rose locking nut size R2. You will have to drill new holes but it worked on mine. :D

Thanks again FRG. Very cool that you've found a solution. Hopefully someone from Jackson will notice this and make an adjustment so these guitars won't have that issue in the future.

I'm having the same issue with my SDX neck...

FloydRoseGuy, it's been a few months since you changed your nut, are you still happy with it ? Did it really solve the strings slipping issue after all ? Could you please tell us more about it ?
