Dark Oath's a melodic/epic death metal band from Portugal. The band began in the summer of 2009 between José and Joël (both guitarists). After some months writing songs, Pedro, Danilo and Carlos joined the band. The rise to the stages happened in February 2010. Danilo left the band and Emerson Nunes filled his place. In November 2010, the debut EP "Under a Blackened Sky" was self-released. After a while, Carlos had to leave the band and Sara Leitão came in and growls since then. "Journey Back Home" a home-made EP was released in April 2012, and a few weeks after, Emerson Nunes left the band for personal reasons. Meanwhile, Afonso Aguiar started riding along doing what he does best: playing bass.
