I have a 91 Soloist. Serial # says it was Ontario made. Custom Paint is a lightning storm but has what appears to be like Stonehenge or large rock monoliths on it also. they are located on lower half by the volume knobs. It is not the standard Lightning Paint Job. I bought it from my old guitar player who purchased it new from Musicians Friend back in 1992. He said when he ordered it, it was supposed to be the Lightning Sky Graphic but this Paint Job came and he thought it was cool and did not send it back. I have tried to find any other picture of the same paint job online or in the old Jackson Custom Shop catalogs-- but have not.
Was this a special paint job for Muscians Friend or did I get someone's custom artwork by mistake? I have no plans to part with it and it is played almost daily, but I am very interested in more info on it. Any help is appreciated!!!
