GOOD i am happy for Fender to have prevented such jewish monopoly. he sucks anyway.[/quote]

What kind og hateful bullshit are you spewing? What's with the jewish comment 1st, and 2nd I suppose you are a better guitar player than Dave? If so, please show us all of your gold and platinum records, please share with the group! Fuckin' retard. I suppose that Fender doesn't have a nice little monopoly of their own? Nice for your second post, hopefully your last.

you know the time when dave left Jackson and went on other brands it was almost the time Megadeth changed their musical direction and the line up got fucked up.....now its the right time to switch on his Jackson models that Megadeth is getting back again on their heavy and fast music...Anyway we must bear in mind he is the player and he has preferences so he knows best maybe.....

Dave and Marty were the reasons I first wanted to buy a Jackson guitar myself!
Now both of them have jumped ship. Maybe they'll return one day :?:

Dave was in a chatroom a week or so ago and a few people were asking him about his Jacksons. I don't remember Dave's exact words but it went something like this:

Fan: How many Jacksons with Megadeth logo did you have?
Dave: One. Maybe more, it was a long time ago.
Fan: Do you still own any Jackson guitars?
Dave: Yes, they are in a storage.
Fans: How many Jacksons do you still have?
Dave: I still have my number one.
Fan: Did you sell all your y2ks?
Dave: I still have the proto.
Fan: ...[many questions I don't remember]
Dave: The Jacksons were too brittle sounding. In the studio I use my Deans. They sound and play better.
Fan: Your alder Jacksons sounded best.
Dave: I've never had an alder guitar.

Not 100% what he said, but that's how I remember it so take it for what it is.

DAVE MUSTAINE TRIED TO BUY JACKSON

He tried ponying up his own cash while trying to gather investors to help him raise enough.

Then pretty much out of frickin nowhere Fender came along and placed a higher bid and bought out the company right under his nose.

That pissed him off enough to sell off all of his Jacksons and pretty much vow to never touch Jackson guitars again. Ever since then he's been playing guitars as close to a King V as he can get without Jackson coming after him (or ESP or Dean). Deep down inside Jackson is probably still his favorite guitar company in terms of the guitars themselves, but he's probably still too mad to ever deal with them again

That is very racist and you should be banned from this forum! Shame on you and the whole forum for allowing such a horrible thing. I am not Jewish but that is really offensive and it's a shame Dave isn't on this forum because he'd kick your ass!

I've seen Megadeth once in 1988 at the Allstate Arena (not sure what it was called then) located just outside of Chicago. They were replacing GnR opening for Iron Maiden. I was worried that they couldn't fill the bill after all Appetite was killing the record charts and compared to that who was Megadeth? I was impressed and forever greatful because I had brought guests and worried they might be disappointed, they loved it.
Reading through this thread, with the exception of a couple useless posts (you know who you are) everyone wants Dave back with Jackson. I concur. In response to Dave having some animosity towards the brand or it's new owners Dave doesn't seem like an asshat at all actually sounds pretty intelligent IMHO. Anyways, I like Dean guitars but Jackson is were you belong Dave, come on back there are some cool guitars waiting for you, lol. 8-)
