Well, as you can see mine is solid black. And I like it more than trans finish tbh.
I have kept mine mostly stock
Stock pickups is not an option for me, they sound worse than stock pickups on my budget Kramer S-440s so I'll swap them with SD Black Winter set once it arrives. Also pickup rings need to be replaced too - they have chipped corners which doesn't look good to me.
Stock tremolo system, some say its good, seems OK in terms of staying in tune, I managed to put 14-68 set of strings replacing 2 out of 3 original springs with harder ones. Guitar has an amazing sustain despite its bolt-on, but also dim attack, so I'm thinking of blocking tremolo.
Truly saying, I have bought KS2 thinking of getting rid of neck pup, 3way switch, tone and LFR, putting there a wrap-up bridge and neck without locking system, but when I barely touched the beauty, that thought became kinda blasphemy.
