Awesome guitars in this thread! Super jelly of all the USA RRs floating around.
neeto>> Nice work picking up that PS-4 dude, those were some fantastic guitars and quite affordable too.

Here's my collection:

The trans red beast is a 2006 RR3 that I picked up off the 'bay for a steal. The guy was selling it on behalf of his son who had moved overseas and didn't want it anymore. It was actually advertised as an RX10D and was priced accordingly but luckily I managed to get in quickly before anyone else spotted the fact it was an RR3. I swapped out the stock SD pickups for the EMG Alexi Laiho signature bridge pickup and preamp combo and dropped a standard EMG HZ-H2N into the neck. Sounds fantastic, for metal I'd take that setup over the 85/81 combo any day.
The black one is just a stock JS30 that I again picked up for peanuts off ebay. Not sure of the year, it's in fantastic condition though; when I collected it there was hardly a scratch. One day I'll get around to pimping it out a little, I'd like to replace the pickups and maybe kit it out with black hardware for extra badass points

Some pics of the RR3 in action:

^^ Nice collection! That RR3 is absolutely sick! Thanks for the compliments about my PS4, it was a Craigslist deal I couldn't pass up. 275 with the Charvel hard case. Just plugged her in earlier today and it sounds good considering the entry level Jackson pickups. The single coil has a nice clean Strat tone. Love the thing, couldn't be happier. :)

Thanks dude :)
Looking at your latest pic that thing is in amazing condition for a guitar that's nearly 15 years old. Whoever owned it before you must have taken really good care of it. I always liked the fret markers on those models, looks much cooler than the standard centre mounted dots.

Thanks! It does look better in person! The previous owner said he bought it new in '99 and he's one of those weird guys that never leave the house. He has a very nice collection of guitars and just wanted to get rid of that one. I actually took a risk because it was in unplayable condition due to bad strings. The next day I cleaned it, oiled the fingerboard and put a set of DR 9's because i broke the high E of the slinkies the previous owner gave me. So after I cleaned, polished and stringed it that's when I was able to really appreciate the condition of the guitar. After I plugged her, it sounded very good, the only thing I noticed was that the selector is a bit iffy when you select the neck pup, had to wiggle it a bit.

My next one is gonna be a handcrafted custom from my uncle which happens to be a very good master luthier. I just need to save a pretty penny haha!

Haha, A custom job would be nice but my band would have to be pulling much bigger crowds before I could justify that. What style of thing were you thinking for your custom?

I wouldn't mind this!

Honduran mahogany body, flamed maple fingerboard, custom 5 way rotary switch for the bridge HB, SD pups, gotoh tremolo. That thing is just sick.

Or something more versatile like this:

This one has fancier woods. Maple neck, ebony fingerboard, ash top with 3 piece Honduran mahogany body with maple center. SH-5 and fender 69's.

Of course I get family discount lol!

Cool customs :) I had a look on his website, I actually liked his strat type ones the best.

Most of the strat styles on his website are the ones he made in the early 90's. If they have te classic fender headstock then those are his older ones. His newest ones have the 4-2 headstocks. His fb is flooded with his new stuff.

Here's an interview with Premier Guitar, here he demos his "stage pro" model. His English is funny and he played terribly but it does shows off the features of the guitar.
I want this in particular because it's such a versatile guitar.

Same guitar but with a much better player.

Here are my beauties Jackson KVXMG and KVXT! Both upgraged with emg 81 & 60 (not on this pics yet) and both upgraded with Planet Waves Auto Trim Tuners (like on the Chris Broderick model). They both are awesome to play! I would recommend the X-Series to everyone, who wants a really good quality guitar without paying very much!
(P.S.: Please make a X-Series Kelly, Jackson!!! :D)
