Basically my question refers to any white RR ping strip FR equipped guitar, what im confused about is if the Jackson RRXMG Rhoads X is neck through or bolt on neck.

IS the Jackson RRXMG Rhoads X bascially the RR3FR with EMG pick ups?
Does it have a bolt on neck or through?
Also whats up with the Jackson Star series?

The Jackson RRXMG is a Neck-through.

I can't say what I think about the RR3FR because I haven't played the RR3 since 4 years ago but it's a bolt-on. RR3's in general are bolt-ons.

The RR5FR is most likely a neck-through, being as how the KV5FR is a neck-through so I'm pretty sure they are in the same vein.

As far as the RRXMG being the same as the RR3FR but with EMG's, the RRXMG is a neck-through and the RR3FR is a bolt-on (Which I have said before) and I'm pretty sure the RR3FR has Seymour Duncans (Not Duncan Designed pick-ups). The RRXMG has a basswood body and the RR3FR has an Alder body but there isn't much of a difference in tone between the two. A tube amp will most likely determine the difference in tone between the two guitars because Tubes are what bring your guitar's most natural tone. Some may argue that but I have a Solid state and every guitar I've played through it pretty much sounds the same tonally no matter the specifications. Also, I think that it's just called the RR3, not the RR3FR because I've never seen a RR3 with any other bridge other than a Floyd Rose and I've never seen it ever been classified with an FR at the end of RR3. Hope that helped.
