I'm new to the forums so sorry if I mess something up

I'm just wondering if anybody knows the best way to go about adding more weight to my DK2? Because it is simply a bit too light a guitar for my personal preferences, but I don't want to run the risk of screwing the guitar up because I love it more than pretty much anything! Please help!!

well....you can't really do anything to the neck and even the body... only thing i can think of is to put some lead in the compartments of the body

Check ebay. This is kind of an odd request unless you're just used to the weight of a LP of something. My recommendation would be Steel(stainless if possible) control cavities on the back of the body. Steel pick-up rings and heavier steel knobs. Little things like this can add up. There's plenty of room to add hidden weight here and there in the cavities. Try to keep it on all the stock parts so it doesn't throw off the balance of the guitar too much. You can find steel plating at home depot that you could make some of the stuff yourself. How much are you wanting to add anyways?
