Depends on a lot of factors.
What type of bridge you want. Floyd Rose or String through.
Type of finish.
Classic Black tends to be less expensive.
Do you want it used or new?
What series, KV JS, KVXMG, KVX10... Etc
If you are looking for a KV2,those things are no longer in production and sell for around $2,000 used.

Sorry. Stupid Autocorrect. I meant "KV1"
Well yea, of you want a cheap KV try looking in eBay or other sites cause Guitar Center tends to sell used gear for too close to new price.
I got myself a KVX10 in pretty much new condition for like $250.00
Retails for about $550.00+tax

If you want something even cheaper I suggest you get a JS series.
Sacrifice the quality for the price at guess.
Cheaper quality wood but hey, it gets the job done.

I mean you can just modify it but I think it's just going to go up to around the same price range when you buy the pickups, tremolo. Etc.

As long as you are happy,it's all good.
