So my winter project became refinishing an older applause brand electric guitar. When I researched this guitar I couldn't help but notice how exact the head stock was to a Jackson. I did a bit of research and found two facts that made me think this guitar is a cousin of a Jackson. 1, applause is the budget line of Ovation. 2, Ovation is or was distributed by the same company that distributed Charvelle. The resemblance of the neck is too close. could it be a Korean factory deal? the applause had no serial or country listed. My refinish was in the spirit of the 80's guitars that grabbed your attention.
Anyone have a clue about this guitar?
