I just bought my second Jackson which is a DKM2 Dinky and it has the licensed Floyd Rose. I have never owned a Floyd rose but I've looked up a few things online, and used a bit of common sense. However, since its the Jackson FR, it's designed a bit differently than the Original FR. So I am not entirely sure how to adjust the intonation. (My guitar didn't come with a manual, so I'm wondering if I can download it a PDF of it). I used common sense and figured it was the smaller hex screws but when I turn them nothing really happens/it doesn't move enough and it eventually comes unscrewed! Thus the (not sure if I am using the right word) "Saddle"? comes undone. I don't mean the entire FR just the part that is supposed to move back and forth on the plate. Any advice?

u loosen the small hex screws and then u move the saddle to get the intonation correct and if u want to use google etc for more info try floyrd rose pro cause taht has pretty similiar look to that and making sure that by saddle u ment dese http://www.thomann.de/fi/schaller_saite ... remolo.htm (and yes they look bit diffrent in the one u got but still pretty similiar)

I kinda figured it out. I just pulled the whammy down and gave the strings slack then adjusted it (which was still a pain). I saw there was this one hex wrench tool that did that, not sure where to get one but that would be just grand!

dunno about "special" tools for this i just use a standard inch allen key? http://www.thomann.de/fi/schaller_233.htm got tool set similiar to that on my kv2 and it has both 1 for taking/changing the strings/locking nut and other for the fine tuning and yes it is a pain in the ass to do but atleast u dont have to do it often
