I need to know the model of my jackson and its value. It's a neck thru, I bought more 'than twenty years ago by a private individual who had changed the pu at bridge with a Bartolini one and as a bridge is equipped with a Kahler Z700. The last key there are marked on the left of a J and a 4 to the right. Inside the box placed behind the body, where is the mechanics of the bridge, are indicated by hand the 'year 1988, 01.25.1988 exactly, and a number: 3218 I do not know what these are these signs. I understand that the neckh thru have the serial number imprinted on the last fret and mine, I repeat, is numbered J 4.

How about a picture or a detailed description? A picture? There really is no source that can be checked with the serial number, and there should be a little more there than just the "J4" anyway..

Looks to me like the serial number has been sanded off of the finger board, and the trem is definitely NOT original, nor is the case.. It should have the Jackson badged trem, and the locknut has been changed also.. It is definitely custom ordered, as the fretboard is blank rosewood, Jacksons came with ebony and shark fins.. That is the Soloist model to answer your original question..

Yes, in fact the guitar was modified by the person from whom I bought it. The trem changed with a Kahler Z700, as well as the pick up to a bridge with a Bartolini. It was also repainted because the first owner was not so normal ... Regarding the serial number there are not traces of sanding, I am sure of this, the only characters are the J key on the right and 4 on his left. On the keyboard there are the usual points to indicate the number of button, instead of the classic indicators affixed by Jackson. was modified in some way the keyboard too, i don' t know, but it's extremely smooth. So it is a Soloist, and also can you tell me what would be its market value, even approximately? Thanks anyway for your advice.
