rr3 is 22 fret bolt duncan passives on and rrxmg nechtru 24 fret emg active tho the finish quality may be poorer on the rrxmg tho if u buying it so u can see the one ure getting then id say no worries by specs id say rrxmg is better (if u want nectrhu and 24 liek i do) but all personal preferences :P tho i have no experience whit the floyd rose special... but if it dosent stay in tune u can always get an ofr :P and for the rr3 floyd stays tune quite fine and arent the body woods diffrente on rr3 and rrxmg tho some1 else might hawe to verify that part

Thanks for your reply.
If i understood well, you prefer some features in each guitar, and in a certain way you think they are both at an similar level. rr3 is alder body and rrmg is basswood.
I prefer rrxmg, but i think alder may be better, and there's also the mith of a japonese guitar being the best after the americans.
I had 2 japonese jacksons. One "rhoads ex", "profissional", that played cool but had the headstock curved and sound like shit (not shure the body was alder); had another profissional with fixed bridge that had a problem in the wood of the body, that begun to open a crack under the painting and without braking the painting. With the waranty they change it for another guitar. 2 jp jacksons thet was not so good.

I have a korean rhoads "performer" for 14 year and so far so good. The floyd lost some precision. Also an indian js30 that guives no problems! ;)
