Hi everybody, I'm new to the forum. I've contacted Jackson Guitars directly with the idea of bringing back the Robbin Crosby reverse Firebird, and I was told that chatter on this forum would be the best way to get it done. If you support bringing back the model or want more info on it, please let me know. I'm sure that many of you know about the model and I hope you share my interest in bringing it back again. I thought that a run of solid colors in addition to the "Dragon" and "Catfish" graphics on white would be neat. Also, a red rose graphic on the tip of the guitar head where he used to place one before each show might be a cool touch. Of course, the Floyd Rose option is a must. I'd love your feedback, we must generate enough interest on this forum to make it happen!

The Firebird is a Gibson body and they can no longer make those.. Fender and Gibson have a "gentleman's agreement" not to infringe on each others designs.. If you want a reverse firebird, Jackson is not an option.

MatreCarreFour, I'm sorry to see that I've been chasing my tail with this idea. I appreciate your information regarding the agreement between Gibson and Fender. I'm surprised that the Jackson representative didn't tell me this when I contacted him. I wish the companies could get together on this model and colaborate on a true re-issue model. I believe that a collaboration between Gibson and Fender alone would be a rare and cool thing. Now I'm really dreaming right, lol. That's my new campaign I guess, let's get Gibson and Fender talking on this model.

If that ever takes place, Armageddon is surely at hand..
