My friend has a Dinky with classic trem and he didn't like the sharktooth inlays. I had an idea, but I need someone to tell me this would work: I wanted to take his Dinky neck and switch it with his V neck. They are both the same, but the Dinky neck has a backwards headstock and has sharktooth inlays. His V neck is normal with dot inlays. It is the same length and width and same fretboard radius. I need someone to tell me this idea will work.
Thanks.

You will also have to measure the thickness of the neck heel, not all of them are the same.. Also check the neck screws, make sure they are the same length (make sure they go back in where they came out of, the ones toward the back can be longer) and they line up with the holes in the same bodies.. If there are shims in the neck/body joint they should stay with the neck they came from, but be prepared to switch them back to the body they came from..

I have a PS4 body with a Dinky neck on it. It fits on fine. The only issue is the high E is now close to the edge of the fretboard. I'm fairly sure the Dinky necks are a bit narrower at the end of the fretboard. It's not a real problem, you just need to be precise.
