I have a Jackson guitar serial number 00050823 and am trying to figure out what type it is and how much it is worth

That's a DR7. As for value, it is a volatile market and it is all a matter of who wants one, in this economy it is difficult to be anything more than speculative.. It depends on how many people out there are looking for one, too..

cool, well, I am most likely not selling it cuz its an awesome guitar, but I just traded a drum set for it so just wanted to know how much it was worth. its got seymour duncan pickups too from here in Santa barbara.
