I'm looking for a king v i've thought about getting either one of these. I'm looking for something past a beginner guitar, and i'd like to know which one of these is would fit me better. I'd would play them both to see, but i've never seen a jackson v in person.

Well, I`ve played the kvx10 and it was great, the floyd rose was really good in spite of be a cheap guitar. In short, the kvx10 and the x series are better than the js series, too, so if you are looking for a good guitar and play it for many years the kvx10 is fantastic.
When you have a floyd guitar you know it's a bit difficult to tune it, isn't it? And you won't can use it as Dimebag used but it's a good bridge to take a fun moment!
I hope I help you, and sorry for my English! :P

The KVX10 is gonna be your best bet. I currently am playing one (I've owned it for over 2.5 years) and it's a really solid guitar. It will feel and play much better than a JS series will ever do.

I've played both, and I'll definitely say go for the KVX10, it sounds a bit better than the JS series KV (although that is also a fine guitar for the price), with my experience though, I'd stay away from the Floyd Rose....I dunno if the one I played was just badly set up, but it went out of tune almost in an instant. Other than that though, it's a great intermediate level guitar :P
