Please help me identify the model and where and when this Jackson was made. On the headstock it says : Jackson Professional; The serial number on the neck plate is "601182". I am a bit confused about what I have read about the serial number. I understand that all MIJ Jackson serial numbers having six digits start with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. This one starts with a 6. Was this one of the first Made in Taiwan Jacksons? It is purple, has a Dinky shape, 24 frets, Floyd Rose, reverse headstock. It has two humbucking pickups with the word "Jackson" on them. Tried to post pics but they wouldn't go. Thanks.

The Professional Series was made in Japan.. What you are describing sounds like a Dinky Reverse, or a DR3.. Made in 1996... Once again difficult to tell without seeing the pics.. Post the link if you can't get them to go..
