Does anyone know what model guitar this is? I am thinking of buying it. It is described as a Dinky Made in the USA in the late 1980s.

DK2 neck on a JS body.. who keeps building these things??

I guess it's a symptom of having such a high level of standardization across your range. Certainly makes your manufacturing and QC easier but also means people can mix and match whatever they like and we end up with a whole bunch of unholy abominations doing the rounds on the used market

Henry>> It ain't USA made that for sure, and as MatreC says it definately looks like a frankenstien. If it's cheap enough it's probably a decent enough guitar but if the person selling is trying to pass it off as a USA dinky they're either an idiot or trying to rip you off. Proceed with caution is my advice.
