Can someone please tell me the difference between a SL2H and a SL3MG? They both have EMG pick-ups. THe SL2H is 850 used and the SL3MG is 1080 new. I am looking for a Def Leppard/Van Halen type sound. Thanks

SL2H is USA made, ebony fretboard,hardtail.SL3MG is made in Japan, rosewood fretboard, floyd bridge. That's the simple answer.Preferences vary. Both excellent guitars but if you can get an SL2 for 850 bucks, grab it fast cause someone else will.

The SL2H has a Floyd Rose, the SL2HT is a hard tail.. And if you can snag an SL2 for 850, there is no contest here... Grab it..
