No, there is no paint in the electronic cavities.. This is normal.. If you are at all concerned, you can remove the electronics, mask everything off (including the holes drilled for the controls so nothing goes through to the front of the guitar) and spray it with shielding paint. Shielding paint helps isolate outside electrical interference..
