Hi,

I have a custom Jackson - Serial J4692. The only other identifying mark is found under the back cover plate. There is a label which reads 'WO 3189', there are other fields here but they're blank. Oh, and the paint job glows in the dark!

I'd really appreciate your expert input to find out as much as possible about this guitar. Model, year, spec, approx value etc

I think it's a 1988 Ontario (whatever that means :s )

Please follow the link below for images.

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

Ontario means it was built when the plant was in Ontario, California, after the move from San Dimas.. It's a one hum Student style Soloist, and value is really tough to call on that one.. Rosewood fingerboard as opposed to Ebony, dots in stead of shark fins, and no binding really are major issues for the collectors market.. The glow in the dark helps a bit, but the rest of the options really limit your customer base..
