EMG X Series just get a more organic sound out of the active pickups.. I have never tried Blackouts, so you're on your own there.. I don't understand why you are having such an issue with sustain, though.. Have you tried changing the battery??

I replaced the stings again, changed the battery 2 times, replaced the pickup selector switch (wasn't working fine) and recalibrated the guitar with no luck... So I decided to order a 81x and a 85x to see if this solves the problem. Maybe there´s something wrong with the 81 and 85 that came installed on my guitar. You think that is possible?
