 Post subject: RR1 problem

I need to do a sort of volume crescendo like minute 1.13 on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WCY_eUOMC0&feature=related

while i am doing this on my rr1 i hear a bad sound. this sound dissapear if i turn the pot while i put an hand on the neck pressing all the strings.

so i would like how to solve it

You either have a bad pot or a bad ground...

Pot is standard jackson usa pot
ground on my guitar on ground in general external house system?

Does not matter what the pot is, mechanically they are only good for so many cycles and begin to degrade.. The friction in the pot also wears the contacts, creating dust, which also shortens the life of the pot.. As for the ground, it would be a guitar issue, not a home wiring issue.. I would suggest replacing the pot and trying a volume pedal..

If you have never done it before, it can be. It is pretty easy to burn up the new pot soldering it if you have never done it before..
