A friend recently gave me a Jackson that was badly damaged. The body is beyond being salvageable. I'm going to save the pickups and parts to build a new guitar around them. I'd like to know the specs on this one so I can go about it the right way. Serial number 001051.This guitar was built in Ontario, CA.

You can look up the original specs here on the Jackson site, it is (or was) a DK1.. That thing has made the rounds on the auction sites for quite some time, sorry to hear of it's demise..
