On my RRXT i noticed that when i turn the Tone knob all the way up to 10 ( the one farthest from the bridge pickup, down by the end of the tail.) that it cuts the volume/tone away, and if i move it down to say-9, then the sound comes back... is this a wiring issue? or is it designed like this, to be a sort of killswitch? please help thank you.

Sounds like you have a bad tone pot.. IF you bought it from a local dealer, take it back to them and have them take a look at it.
