ps. just for the record. i love it but i will never buy a guitar with a gatoh battery box. or a locking bridge thats just screwed in again. they dont lend well to playing my style. i sunk 130$ for a bolt threw bridge/labor then $20 on a new box. since i dident pay more than that add im only a bit peeved. its worth $700 total.(and a jackson case). still......

Your DK2M should be a 2008, not a 2007, and limited editions never make the catalogs, they are special ordered by the dealer, and are not a standard production run or model. Unless they are numbered in the series, you will never really know where your guitar stands relative to number of pieces in the build.. I have a Bengal, 9799485, which is well more than 100 off of yours, so I would assume these weren't built consecutively and were interspersed with normal production guitars..

I am having difficulty interpreting what you mean by "bolt through" bridge, though.. Did you convert it to a hard tail? As for the Gotoh battery box... I know what you mean, I have already replaced mine, too..

That is the Jackson Dinky Standard Shuriken model, a Guitar Center Anniversary exclusive model.. Indian Cedro body, maple top, bound rosewood fret board..
