Yes, that is a DK2, made in Japan. If you are daring enough to take the neck off (carefully, neck pocket fit is a little tight), you will find a date stamp on the end of the neck..

Yes, I have a 2003 DK2 and it is one of my favorite both tonally and playing wise.
