I recently bought a Soloist 7 string and I absolutely love it. However the headstock is rather large and won't fit in any of my cases. I see on Musician's Friend that Jackson makes a custom molded case for the soloist but I'm assuming a seven string will not fit because of the wider neck. Anyone know if it will fit? And if not, do you know of a case that will work? Thanks!

Try this one.. The Specs section gives the interior dimensions, so grab a measuring tape and your axe to see if it will work for you..

Thanks man that one looks good.http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/299-6100-506/ There is a link to the one I was originally referring to. The picture looks like it should fit a seven string neck. but Im not sure.

I couldn't find any specific dimensions on the case you posted. Being that it is described as "Dinky Or Soloist", I would think it a bit too short for the seven strings.. I have heard of others having this issue with these cases before, and the seven strings did not fit..

Anyone find a good case for these? I also just got one and will need to ship it within the next few weeks so I'm very interested in finding a rugged case. Does jackson really not make cases for the 7-string models?

I had the same problem a few months ago and nobody could help, so I tried every case I could find and a Roadrunner case for a Dean Dimebag fit perfectly, got it at guitar center...another guy I know looking for one found one through Gator cases and the link for it: http://www.gatorcases.com/p/16134-1274/gc-elec-xl
how this helps
