Picked up this bass I have had alot of input as to its origins including it is a one of a kind prototype for the Kip Winger model Futura .....it appears to have a faint half of a stamp on the headstock that reads crafted and the rest can not be made out but there apears to be a few more words on the first line and then below it on the second line a "JH and" then the rest cant be read it is an amazing guitar the craftmanship is second to none any help would be apreciated I am wondering where this guitar came from it wont let me upload a picture if you have any info email me I will send you the pictures buxtonmotorsports@ca.rr.com ...thanks

yes it is the infamous seven layer special ....I believe I had some input from you when I put it on ebay and I have had 5 people tell me stories about it I still dont really know where or when it was made as there is no serial number on it or what it is worth

there wont be a serial because they didnt make but one of them that way. I think I told you all that ( it has been a while )
