Here's a pic of me last memorial day with mine playing at a bar-b-que. Excellent 5 string bass guitar, excellent price. I banged it into my Peavey TNT and chipped a 3" piece of binding off of the headstock, Third Coast Guitar glued it back on for 47 bones. I was thinking about getting the JS 5 string as a back-up. I really like my David Ellefson, for the 2 weeks it was at Third Coast I missed it, lol: Image

the JS IMO is ok for a backup bass. it certainly is priced correctly for what you get.
