The JS3V Concert Bass features an Indian cedro body, bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets, 34" scale, Jackson dual humbucking high output pickups, a high mass bridge and black hardware.

im a guitar player and interested buying this bass just for home studio recording, but 5 string with 34" scale, is this right?

Im gonna be tuning it down to alternate tunings like D, Eb, C

will this work good?

I'm not sure of your question?

What do you mean alternate tuning?

you mean instead of BEADG you wanna tune ADGCF?
I play my Concert-V in ADCGF and never had an issue

or do you mean UP one step drop-tune as CEADG and if so why would you want to go higher on the B string?
