Sorry to inform you, but sadly there is no Jackson production in Japan at this point. Reliable sources have stated that the bolt on Dinkies are being made in Mexico, and the set neck and neck through models are being built in Indonesia. Hope that clears things up for everyone..

Thanks for the answer! I'll try to find someone with the new Jackson pro guitar and compare it to KV5FR. Till that moment I can't say that pro-series guitars are that exact quality.

Friends. I have read and heard the new pro series are produced in Indonesia. Ibanez guitars in the same factory.
X, and I think it will be too low, the quality of the craftsmanship in the PRO at the moment.

I do not understand exactly what you want to say. Manufacturing location: Indonesia is not it? Produced at the factory in Indonesia is not even clear what is really interesting.

Well, regardless where's it made [I've had some Indonesian LTD, Squiers, Sterling by Music Man---all of them kick-ass, the craftsmanship is much better than anticipated, much better than any Chinese stuff, IMHO], I'd get one---bummer, it's not produced in Japan, which makes me wonder more about the new ESP LTD Elite Series, MIJ

Hello Brad, congratulations, Fender and Jackson, I couldn't have hoped for a better guitar team. Breath of new life, the Pro series are possibly the finest solid body electric guitars, after Fender, ever designed. But with this Pro series not that much after,lol.
My favorite: SL2 Pro Series Soloist™ .

The prices of these Indonesian/Mexican guitars is very high. Do you now see low volumes in sales as also sales cutting into those of the USA Jacksons? We now see Jackson headed the PRS/Schecter way, with imports at prices as high as some American guitars, and the American models at sky-high prices.

I just wish they'd get moving these! I've been waiting on one ever since you could order them and it keeps being pushed back!
