I have an older Jackson bass, I think it's the discontinued Performer series. It has two Duncan Designed single-coil-shaped pickups, it is metallic red, and has a black 2x2 headstock. I can not find any tool that will fit in the truss rod cavity to adjust the neck. Is there a specialized Jackson tool I need? If so, where can I buy one? I am ready to carve a huge gash out of the headstock in order to use a conventional socket wrench!

This bass sounds awesome, but the neck is really bent and I can't use it as is. Thanks for your help!
