When I wanted to streap the lake of the guitar with a heat gun, wood has been cut out, because of poor quality adhesive. Lack piece was replaced with mahogany and modified string through body. Still not finished, I will post pictures at the end of the work. Thanks
PS: I have two RR1, was guitar of my dreams

What wood did you put in the middle when you put it back together? Another thing i saw.. is the fingerboard bound with maple? In the post sanded pic it seems to be. Personally there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it except you tore it apart. Do you know what neck thru body construction is? It is a method of electric guitar or bass guitar construction that involves extending the piece (or pieces, in a laminate construction) of wood used for the neck through the entire length of the body, essentially making it the core of the body. So how is that guitar not a neck thru? Maybe you're thinking of set thru construction.
