Just to confirm.. is the bass pickups in the JS3 bass (passive?), I would like to modify the preamp of that bass to Aguilar OPB 3 with additional bypass switch for active and passive, will it work?
Thanks.

Thanks, I have sent my bass for the modification and true.. the pickups that comes with the bass is passive. I have asked the guitar tech to remove the original preamp and replace it with the aguilar opb 3. Simply can't wait for the bass to be ready and test the powerful aguliar tones..plus the active/passive switching.

you may like the "new tone" the aggie pre will make for you...give us a review of before-after once you get it back.
