My name is Bob and I just bought my 2nd Jackson...a white Soloist. I bought my first Jackson, a bubblegum pink Dinky Strat, back in 1987.

The Ibanez on the left became my main guitar and I've been an Ibanez guy all these years. Until now, that is. Got the Soloist 2 weeks ago after admiring them for over 20 years.

I can't seem to put it down. It is now my main guitar.

I'm Aloy from Indonesia reporting

I was fan of Jackson Guitars since 90's as i remembered. My first Jackson bought at 1996, it was Stealth EX (MIJ) on Stone Finishes.

Since last year, I started to collect another 3 of it (RR 3 Eerie Des Swirl, RX10D Jenna Jameson, SL3 Green Swirl).

Now, I'm looking for DKMG Blue Swirl soooo bad, which so hard to find here :(

I would love to buy another brand, but....seems Jackson still the best in shape. Oh well...So I decide, JACKSON FOREVER

I like to upload my collection, but I dunno why it keep failed :?:
Can someone help?

Hello everyone, my name is Christian Flint, I live out in Mideast Pennsylvania... I've been playing guitar ever since I was 5 years old (Yes, I have been playing since I was five), and although I have no Jackson guitars, my younger brother owns a JS30 Kelly in gunmetal grey that is totally sick in my opinion. I admit that I wish that I could get a Jackson or a Charvel guitar so much... I'm a metalhead, involved in a lot of the '80s heavy metal and thrash metal. One of the guys I idolize is Dave Mustaine.

I'm also an avid designer of guitars, sometimes even wondering if I could give Jackson a few ideas of my own to possibly try and produce... Though I admit I have not scanned some of my better work, I am usually extremely detailed in my drawings of the guitars from the top, often putting in excruciating details on the Floyd Roses... However the frets are what always get me, but most of the time I design them to have 24 frets and a 25.5" scale length. One of my current ones is similar to a dual-humbucker Soloist, but with a small cutout/swoop-around at the rear of the guitar, individual pickup "On-Off" switches plus a stacked volume/tone control and much more aggressive cutaways built in a neck-thru design.

Most of my designs are much more radical, though, aimed for the metal crowd. A few V designs... One of them similar to a RR except scaled up slightly, flipped, and the points lopped off... I can get the pictures scanned, if you all would like that.

Other than that, I am a big fan of Jackson (more than Ibanez, of course, which I'm sadly forced to use an Ibanez GIO GAX70 guitar as my main playable guitar because I am VERY strapped for cash), and of course I am wondering if it would be possible to try and show off a few different designs, and see if some Jackson guys are interested...

Anyways... Jackson, keep it up. Quite a few metalheads crave power... You guys answer.

Hello all, I'm Randy. I live just outside of Austin, Texas.

6 days ago I bought myself my first Jackson. All I can say is OMG, what a fabulous player this is!! I bought it used. It is an '04 DKMG with 2 bucker pups and a licensed FR. It is way more comfortable to play than my LP or Strat or any guitar I've ever owned for that matter and can't seem to put it down!!

I can definitely see me having this guitar for many years to come!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

My name is Mark, I live in Woodbridge, VA, (a suburb 15 miles due south of Washington, DC) and a Jackson owner since the mid 90s. I had a Charvel model 3 before that, a friend now owns it, never plays it, and I will be buying it back soon for sentimental reasons.
I will likely be in the market for another "serious" guitar this time next year if everything goes well.
I currently own 4 playable guitars. A Martin DC-1, a one off handbuilt custom Rhoads V copy with an ash body/Kahler tool less tremolo/OBL pickups, a Schecter Hellraiser Solo 6, and a USA KV1 Mustaine sig in charcoal metallic. Come tax time I will be buying back my old Charvel.
I am in a garage/cover band. We play an eclectic mix of everything from Cream to Stone Temple with a little Pink Floyd for good measure.
I am a big Megadeth fan as evidenced by my choice of Jacksons. I wanted a Marty Kelly to go with my Dave V but could not begin to afford it back then. I still want one.
My true desire would be a USA neck thru Kelly without a tremolo, equipped with either blackouts or EMGs.
After playing for over 25 years and owning/playing lots of different guitars my Jackson is like an old friend. It outplays anything and everything I have ever spent any time with. It has been and continues to be the best musical equipment decision I have ever made.
Looking forward to interacting here on the boards and learning all I can. Have a great day everyone.

Hey all, I'm Matt from Brisbane in Australia :D
I'm a fairly recent Jackson convert; I got my first one for my birthday in 2010, a black JS32T Rhoads (The very first one in Australia incidently.) Sadly it was stolen a few months later and I was forced to go looking for a replacement. I managed to get lucky on ebay and found a 2006 trans red RR3 for a very reasonable price.

Image

This has been my main gigging guitar for a year and a half now, I switched out the stock SD pickups for the EMG Alexi Laiho bridge pickup and preamp set and dropped an EMG HZ-H2N into the neck and this combination has become an essential part of my band's sound.
I also recently picked up a black JS30 Rhoads as a backup (I've played my RR3 so much at this point that any other shape feels weird and wrong lol) and it's a fantastic guitar considering I paid peanuts for it in flawless condition.
I played ESP guitars for years and I was never as happy with them as I am with my Jacksons, I only wish I'd made the switch sooner because I could have saved myself a lot of cash and dicking around.

Hey I'm Michael, I'm from Glasgow in Scotland and I'm 22 (I'll be 23 in just over 2 and a half weeks)

I want to start by saying thank you Jackson for making the best guitars ever.

I've been a fan of Jackson since before I even played guitar so around 10 years ago, I always wanted one seeing all the bands I listened to usuing them in older videos (I'm more of an 80's metal kinda guy, I do like my modern stuff too though) such as Dave Mustaine, Kirk Hammet, Scott Ian, Galder and Silenoz (Dimmu Borgir), Randy Rhoads, Jeff Hanneman, Dave Murray and my favourite guitarist of all time Adrian Smith, especailly their strathead Jackson's which I love and want to own myself. I currently have a 2005 DKMG in black, a 2005 RR3 Crimson Swirl with silver hardware, a 2010 JS30KV Inferno Red and a 1989 Charvel 375DLX in trans purple. I am also saving up for the Jackson Adrian Smith San Dimas Dinky in white with the maple fretboard and black pickguard as it most resembles his custom shop from the Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son albums and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. I have played it many times and can't wait to get it. :D
