I was hoping someone from Jackson could enlighten me with something. If anyone has information on this, please notify me.

I had ordered a Jackson JS3V back around Christmas time and they said I have to wait a couple months due to them being on back order. So here I am sitting here on the 5th of March still waiting on my Bass and I haven't had any legitimate information as to why it's taking so long. I'm not an impatient person by any means but I just have one simple question. What is the hold up? I know that they are selling like hotcakes and it's hard to keep the line in stock due to that, but I would like to know when the JS3V's will be in stock again. I don't want to have to wait much longer for it.

You're probably gonna do a face palm after I tell you this, but I ordered mine through Guitar Center. I also ordered mine in the Silverburst color so that could also be the reason why mine is taking so long. Only issue is that I don't see why it would take so long to do a burst but it could be harder than I think.

well if it were me, I would have cancelled that order 2 weeks ago and just bought it from somewhere else. Hell right now some online ebay stores are selling demo units for 50-100 less than the normal price with a full warranty still.

I don't need another righty since I'm lefty and it would just be an at-home unit to jam on, or I would buy one of the 3-4 display units on ebay right now for 199.00

Do you know places other than eBay that sell them? Besides the big name companies like Guitar Center, Musicians Friend, etc.? I've honestly never ordered an instrument off of eBay and I've always ordered from a store and had it shipped to the store for safe keeping so that I know what I got is in good hands. Guess I need to lighten up a bit on it but I don't know. I'm gonna call one more time and if I still don't get a solid answer from Guitar Center, then I'm cancelling and ordering it somewhere else.

unfortunately no, I have bought so many guitars off of ebay stores and never had a risk. If it is messed up you send it back, if they burn you you file a paypal claim and get your money back, if it is new the factory warranty covers it...
