I ran across Dave Grohl's Dan Armstrong guitars watching a documentary on tv. So feeling curious I google searched "clear plexiglass guitar" I will admit right now I dont know alot about music and so the idea of a completely plastic guitar might be delusional but this is what I happen to run across

so not knowing alot about music or instruments i can automatically tell that this guitar is not authentic but is this concept possible? I think that guitar looks off the chain would die if it were avail. in king v. I'm def not buying this guitar but I was hoping maybe someone knew more about them.

It is definitely not a Jackson.. There are tons of these Chinese fakes out there, and most major manufacturers have been bitten by these.. The dead giveaway should be the fact that an RR5 is not bolt on, and that link "clearly" shows it is not a neck through build. There were other manufacturers that did have some (try searching acrylic guitar), and I did try one once, and it very much sounded like the plastic it was made out of..

Its definitely a fake, apart from the bolt on neck more obvious to me was the truss rod cover and the shity looking tuners
