Hi!

I was just creating some guitars in the guitar builder again and clicked on "Order" for my saved preset because I knew that the customization form comes up then. I did some changes to see what it would cost and then clicked "Save". I thought I could save this to my preset, but I got an reference number ?!

I'm unsure what this ment.
I hope I'm not bound to an order now ??

I highly doubt you just placed an actual order.. The custom shop orders must be placed through an authorized custom shop dealer, and the reference number is probably something for you and the dealer to better communicate your custom order. I can also virtually guarantee that no dealer will take a custom order like that without a substantial deposit.. All in all, I think you are ok..

I was just so surprised (shocked?) when I got this reference number that I was just not sure anymore.

Maybe a little more explanation on the pages would be helpful.

No, it was not on order, fortunately!
I got an email from Fender/Jackson and they told me that this is an internal reference if I wanted to order.

I think this "reference number" is really confusing! Especially because before you hit "Save" no information about this is given. A little bit more explanation on the pages would be VERY appreciated!
