Hello all, new to the forum and I couldn't find the answer so just going to post.
Recently purchased a DXMG (2008 model) and want to switch the existing EMG HZ passive pickups out with 85/81's. Question is, is it just a matter of plugging in the new ones or do I have to switch out the pots or anything else. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

You will need to change pickups, pots, and the input jack for the active pickups..
