Hi Folks:
Hoping that someone can help identify my guitar.
I paid a bit of cash for this guitar when new from a local music shop (hope I didn't get ripped) in the late 90's or early 2000's. I believe that it's a Dinky DK2 but folks that have looked at it tell me it can't be as it has 'Duncan Designed' pickups and a 'Licensed Floyd Rose' Tremolo. I found a 2003 brochure (page 11) on the Jackson site which shows Dinky DK2's equipped as above. The hardware seems a bit odd as it's not shiny chrome, rather is a dull metallic grey. I assume it's a Javanese model? The Serial number is: 9629524
PS: the volume pot needs to be replaced (I tried flushing it with contact cleaner but it's done!). Is there a standard size for Jackson Guitar pots and can I go into a music shop and they'll know what I need, or do I need to bring the pot in to match it up?
Thanks for any advice.
